The past year was filled with anguish for Anuradha Paudwal who mourned the loss of her only son, Aditya, in September 2020. Aditya was just 35 years old and passed away due to kidney failure. Anuradha, still grieving, has since dedicated multiple charity works in her son's honor.

Anuradha frequently shares photos with her son on social media. Until today, she had never spoken to the media about Aditya. During an interview with Aaj Tak, she said, 'All I'd like to say is that Aditya is not separate from me. He now lives within me – a vital part of my being. I believe he is with me, connected to me. Currently, Anuradha is actively helping COVID-19 victims. She has donated oxygen concentrators and ventilators to hospitals in Maharashtra and a few cities in Uttar Pradesh. Speaking about this, Anuradha stated, 'I'd become anxious reading the news every day. The thought of people losing their lives was frightening. That's why I decided to step up and contribute. Through video conferencing, I'm continuously connected with people and organizations, understanding their needs. Also, I've established the Suryodaya Foundation, focusing on education with ten schools, and working on water conservation in villages.'
