A significant revelation has come to light in the Kannauj Rape Case involving a minor in Uttar Pradesh. The accused, former block chief Nawab Singh Yadav's brother, Neelu Yadav, tried to entice the victim's aunt to change her statement. He also transferred approximately 400,000 rupees into an account close to the victim's aunt. SP Amit Kumar Anand stated that Neelu Yadav is currently on the run and a reward of 25,000 rupees has been announced for his capture.
SP revealed that Neelu Yadav tried to persuade the victim's aunt to change her statement and sent money into a close relative's account to influence the investigation. Evidence regarding this matter is being gathered.
On the night of August 11th, former block chief Nawab Singh Yadav executed the assault on a minor girl in Kannauj. The victim called the police using number 112, and law enforcement quickly arrived at the scene. Both Nawab Singh Yadav and the victim’s aunt were taken into custody for questioning.

After the complaint, the police registered a case and conducted a medical examination of the victim with the family's consent, confirming the assault. The police then arrested the accused after adding relevant charges.
The second accused in this rape case is the victim’s aunt, who brought the minor from Lucknow to Nawab Singh Yadav's college. She was outside the room during the incident. Although the victim called out to her, she did not offer any help. Both Nawab Singh and the victim’s aunt have been arrested by the police.
During interrogation, the victim’s aunt informed the police that she has known Nawab Singh for 5-6 years, revealing a physical relationship with him.
