Indian captain Shubman Gill is delivering a remarkable performance with the bat in the five-match Test series against England for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. On the first day (July 31) of the match being played at London's Oval ground, Shubman Gill has set the stage ablaze with his record-breaking achievements.

Shubman Gill has now become the overseas captain with the most runs in a Test series in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia). He surpassed the legendary Sir Gary Sobers, who scored 722 runs in the five-match series against England in 1966 when he was captain.
