The Election Commission, on behalf of the President of India, released a notification this morning for the nomination process of Lok Sabha elections second phase, which includes 88 parliamentary seats across 12 states. The voting for this phase is scheduled for April 26. Candidates can submit their nominations between 11 am to 3 pm. The last date for nomination submission is April 4, and the scrutiny of the nomination papers is slated for April 5. As the nomination process concluded yesterday for 102 Lok Sabha seats across 17 states and four union territories, prepare for the first voting phase to commence on April 19.

For the second phase, nominations in Bihar will cover the constituencies of Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur, and Banka. Meanwhile, in Uttar Pradesh, the openings of nominations for eight Lok Sabha seats start today, including Amroha, Meerut, Bagpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, and Mathura. Out of these seats, seven are categorized as general, while Bulandshahr is reserved for Scheduled Castes.
