In the city of Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh, a tragic accident unfolded on Friday when three trucks collided on a highway after one hit an animal. The collision resulted in the death of two individuals and left three others injured. Police arrived on the scene and transported the injured to a hospital while the bodies of the deceased were sent for postmortem examination. A news agency received this information from the police.
Accident on the Mumbai-Agra Highway
The accident occurred around 4 AM near a bypass on the Mumbai-Agra Highway. According to reports, a mini truck loaded with vegetables struck an animal on the road. Subsequently, another truck collided with it, followed by a second truck crashing into them.

Two Truck Drivers Died on the Spot
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) T.S. Baghel reported that after the mini truck's collision, a heavy vehicle lost control and collided with another goods vehicle coming from the opposite direction. The accident resulted in the immediate death of truck drivers Jaipal Singh (45) and Anil Yadav (35), while three others sustained injuries.
Officials stated that the injured are currently receiving treatment at district hospitals in Shajapur and Dewas. The condition of the injured is reported to be stable. A case has been registered regarding the accident, and further investigation is ongoing.
