On Wednesday, January 15, an unidentified person broke into his home and attacked him. The attacker stabbed him six times. Saif managed to reach Lilavati Hospital by auto, underwent surgery, and is currently in a special room.

On the late night of Wednesday, January 15, an unidentified assailant attacked Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan with a knife. Mumbai police reported that the intruder entered Saif’s home and started arguing with a maid. Saif stepped in to mediate, but the enraged person attacked Saif instead, resulting in a scuffle. The attacker stabbed Saif six times with a sharp object during the altercation.
The children’s nanny was also injured. After the attacker fled, Saif took Taimur and went to the hospital by auto. He immediately requested a stretcher from the guards, informing them, "I am Saif Ali Khan." Currently, Saif is admitted in a special room at Lilavati Hospital after undergoing surgery. Doctors removed a 2.5-inch knife fragment from near his spine.
It's the third day, yet the police continue searching for the assailant. Thirty-five teams have been deployed to capture the attacker.
