Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350:
India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer, Royal Enfield, has unveiled its much-anticipated Goan Classic 350. This exquisite bobber style bike is based on the company's best-selling model, the Classic 350. However, a myriad of changes sets it apart from its predecessor.
For now, Royal Enfield has simply showcased the new Goan Classic 350. Official sales will begin on November 23, and its pricing will be announced on the same day. The motorcycle will be available in four dual-tone color options—Rave Red, Trip Teal, Purple Haze, and Shock Black.
The Alluring Goan Classic 350:
While the Goan Classic 350 shares its foundation with the regular Classic 350, various design alterations enhance its bobber appeal. Crafted on a double down-tube chassis, it ditches the subframe in favor of a removable pillion seat, offering a quintessential bobber-style overhang seat.
The bike's front features an LED headlamp and a semi-digital instrument console similar to the Classic 350. However, the handlebar is distinctively different, boasting an APE style. Further, forward-set footpegs and a lower 750 mm seat height ensure it embodies a true bobber persona.
Differentiated Wheels:
The existing Classic 350 model is equipped with 19-inch wheels at the front and 18-inch wheels at the rear. The new Goan Classic opts for a 19-inch front and a 16-inch rear wheel, giving the rear an alluring low-rider appearance—ideal for its bobber style.
Its tires feature a white-wall color, and the slashed-cut silencer enhances the bike's side profile. The white tires and stylish seat further add to its sporty charm. Royal Enfield equips the Goan with tubeless wire-spoke wheels, eliminating the hassle of punctures.
Power and Performance:
The engine is akin to that of the Classic 350, featuring the same J-series 349 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It delivers 20 BHP and 27 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Hardware Specifications:
The motorcycle is fitted with a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorber suspension at the rear. On the braking front, disc brakes are available at both ends, complemented by a dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). The bike weighs in at 197 kilograms.
Expected Price:
Speculating the price before the official launch is challenging, but it's anticipated that the new Goan Classic 350 will debut with a starting price of 2.10 lakh rupees. Currently, the Classic 350 ranges from 1.93 lakh rupees for the base model to 2.25 lakh rupees for the top variant.
