The Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary, sparked controversy with his comments about RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, suggesting Yadav sold a Lok Sabha election ticket after taking a kidney from his own daughter. RJD spokesperson Sarika Paswan sharply criticized Chaudhary for his choice of words and the underlying disrespect implied.
In response to Samrat's remarks, Rohini Acharya, the daughter of Lalu, said she would take every low-level comment to the people's court, letting the public decide right from wrong.
While Lalu Yadav is reportedly poised to field his daughters Misa Bharti and Rohini Acharya in the upcoming elections, discussions are ongoing about their potential constituencies. Amid these speculations, Deputy CM Chaudhary's statement drew a pointed reply from Rohini Acharya through a series of tweets.
Posting on X, Rohini declared, 'Donating a kidney to my father was an act of duty and love. I am ready to sacrifice even my life for my family and my homeland, Bihar. I will address each petty thought and character in the court of the people, where the public will judge what's right or wrong.'
