On Wednesday, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar affirmed that the election data system is robust, ensuring that ‘nothing can go wrong.’ His comments came amidst opposition allegations of data manipulation in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

Addressing the launch event of the 'Lok Sabha 2024 Atlas', Kumar highlighted that millions of officials, including booth-level officers, input data, making errors highly improbable by design. If there is any discrepancy, the system triggers a red flag.
