Ranchi: Tiger Enters Home, Villagers Secure It in Room

A tiger suddenly entered a villager's house in Mardu village of Ranchi's Silli Block. Displaying cleverness, the villager locked the tiger in a room. Despite two young girls being in the room, they remained unharmed. The forest department team has arrived and is attempting to safely remove the tiger.

The serene morning of Tuesday in Mardu village, located in Silli Block of Ranchi district, Jharkhand, turned chaotic when a tiger trespassed into the home of Purandar Mahto, a local villager. Upon hearing some rustling noise around 4:30 AM, he cautiously switched on his torchlight to find the presence of a tiger. Overcoming his initial fear, he smartly exited the room without making a sound and securely locked the door from outside.

The tiger is believed to have strayed from the adjacent region of West Bengal's Purulia district. However, the exact path it followed into the village remains unknown. Remarkably, the room occupied by the tiger also housed two young girls, who fortunately were left unharmed by the majestic beast.

Tiger Invades Villager's Residence

The news of a tiger being captured inside a room spread like wildfire, flooding the village with both fear and curiosity. Gatherings of locals quickly formed as the Forest Department was alerted and promptly arrived at the scene. Currently, the team is earnestly engaged in extracting the tiger safely from the room.

Forest Department Leads Rescue Mission

Residents estimate the tiger's length to be around 6 to 7 feet. Meanwhile, safety measures have been heightened within the village, urging villagers to remain indoors until the situation is defused. The confident forest officials assured that the captured tiger will soon be ensured safe capture.
