The Rajasthan Budget 2025 brings significant announcements regarding employment. Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister, Diya Kumari, declared the provision of jobs for 125,000 young people within the next year while presenting the budget in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. She stated, 'In order to ensure maximum employment opportunities for the youth, I announce forthcoming recruitment for 125,000 positions in government departments and state enterprises.' Additionally, she announced the recruitment of 1,050 contract employees.

This Rajasthan budget emphasizes water supply, solar energy, electricity, rural development, and road connectivity. Key highlights of the Rajasthan budget include:

- In MANREGA, employment will be provided to rural residents, with ₹500 crores earmarked for various works.

- The announcement to raise free electricity provision from 100 units to 150 units.

- Declaration of sports quota implementation in technical institutions.

- Provision of 50,000 agricultural and 500,000 residential electricity connections.

- Establishing Girl Child Care Institutes at 10 district headquarters for girls needing shelter and protection.

- The promise of 125,000 job positions for the youth.

- To achieve energy self-sufficiency, a pledge to produce more than 6,000 megawatts of power was made, along with free solar installations in the homes of those receiving free electricity.

- Community solar plants will be set up for homes lacking solar plant space.
