This footage has emerged amidst reports of senior players not in conversation with the team management. It's said that Head Coach Gautam Gambhir and Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar have not communicated with Virat and Rohit Sharma for quite some time. This tension has been evident in Team India's dressing room. Recently, there were reports that Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar wants Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to also participate in the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy next month.
The viral social media video shows Kohli in dialogue with Ojha, with Kohli appearing expressive and Ojha nodding in agreement. They're seen seated together.
Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir is seated in a distant corner. Earlier, Ojha was seen seated near the Head Coach. During this time, he met with Rohit, exchanged handshakes, and smiled at each other. Ojha and Rohit have played together and were part of the IPL team Mumbai Indians.
The second ODI between India and South Africa in Raipur is set for December 3. In the first ODI in Ranchi on November 30, Virat and Rohit played stellar innings, leading India to a narrow 17-run victory. Virat smashed his 52nd ODI century, scoring 135 runs, while Rohit secured fifty-plus scores in the third consecutive ODI.
It should be noted that both Rohit and Kohli currently only play ODI cricket. They retired from T20 internationals post the 2024 T20 World Cup and announced their exit from Test cricket in May 2025 after a brief gap.
