On Tuesday, Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi took part in a discussion in the Lok Sabha regarding Operation Sindoor and the Pahalgam terrorist attack. In his address, he criticized Modi's government's war policy, arguing that this government is clueless about handling war situations. Gandhi challenged the policy of labeling any terrorist attack on India as an 'Act of War' and responding accordingly, saying it undermines India's deterrence strategy and empowers terrorists.

Gandhi posed a question to the government about whether a future terrorist attack might lead to a war declaration against Pakistan, insinuating that any terrorist group could provoke an attack and force India into warfare.

PM should state in Parliament that Trump is lying: Rahul Gandhi

In his address, Rahul Gandhi referenced U.S. President Donald Trump's claims of mediating ceasefires between India and Pakistan, criticizing the government and Prime Minister for not addressing them. He said, 'Trump claimed 29 times that he stopped a war. If the Prime Minister possesses even half the courage of Indira Gandhi, he should stand in Parliament and say Trump is lying, he never mediated a ceasefire. Why is the PM silent? If Trump is lying, he should declare in Parliament that the U.S. President's mediation claims are false.'

Rahul Gandhi stated in the Lok Sabha, 'If my counsel had been heeded, we wouldn’t have lost five planes. On May 11, at a FICCI event, Lt. General Rahul Singh mentioned that during the DGMO-level talks, Pakistan claimed to have known our aircraft were ready for action, suggesting they received satellite imagery and intelligence from China.'

Government restricted our Air Force: Rahul Gandhi

Quoting India's Defense Attaché Captain Shiv Kumar in Indonesia, Gandhi stated, 'I can't agree with their (Pakistan's) assessment of our aircraft losses, yet I acknowledge we did lose some. This stems from our political leadership's instructions not to target Pakistan’s military and air defense installations.' He added, 'You went to Pakistan, attacked, but instructed our pilots not to target their air defense systems, essentially tying our Air Force's hands and sending them into battle.'
