The combined rally of Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi in Phulpur and Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, turned chaotic as activists overcame barriers to get closer to the stage. After the commotion, both Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh acknowledged the gathered leaders and departed without addressing the crowd.
Following Phulpur, a united rally took place in Prayagraj, where Rahul Gandhi was already positioned on stage and was soon joined by Akhilesh Yadav. Activists then started to move forward. The rally organizers pleaded for restraint and respect for barricades to allow the meeting to progress smoothly, but the crowd breached the barricades nonetheless.
