Political tensions in the nation have escalated to new heights. With the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections concluded, the ruling BJP and opposition Congress are continuously taking aim at each other. Amid these developments, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a sharp rebuttal to the opposition's polarization accusations.

Prime Minister Modi, steadfast in his commitment, asserts that the Congress's move to grant reservations based on religion is a constitutional breach. Is this not defining polarization?” he retorted during an interview, holding firm to his previous remark about former PM Manmohan Singh's statement regarding the Muslim community's entitlement to the country's resources.

Modi reassures that the BJP's pledge to bring about a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) stands strong. He cautions against the dangers of creating separate laws for different communities and asserts that India cannot become a nation where one community thrives with constitutional support while others falter due to appeasement. The government is making vigorous efforts to apply UCC throughout India.

The concept of an inheritance tax, according to PM Modi, is detrimental to the nation. Expressing his confidence in a third consecutive victory and central government formation, he laid out the goal to secure over 400 seats. This, he says, will thwart the opposition's plans to erode the reserved rights of the SC, ST, and OBC communities to bolster their vote banks.

Addressing wealth distribution and the inheritance tax, Modi believes these are not solutions but perilous moves. “Would you work day and night if the government snatched your earnings in the name of redistribution?” he questioned. Such concepts threaten to derail the startup revolution and serve as a means for the opposition to satisfy their voter base.

Modi voices concerns over communal harmony and assures that our Constitution safeguards the properties of all minorities. This implies that when Congress discusses property redistribution, it won’t touch minority properties, nor can it consider Waqf properties for wealth division, leaving other communities’ assets in its sights.

Modi also targeted Rahul Gandhi's suggestion to survey people's properties should Congress come to power, labeling it as an ideology akin to that of Naxalites, perceiving it as a potential cause for raids in every household.

Responding to opposition claims that the BJP would change the constitution if given a sweeping mandate, PM Modi called out the irony of those who have amended the constitution the most now fearing changes. He urged a review of his track record before entertaining such questions.
