Prasar Bharati has launched its OTT platform WAVES, now accessible on both Android and iOS platforms since its release this week. The government public broadcaster has made its entry into the digital streaming world, unveiling the platform on World Television Day.

This platform offers a blend of retro and modern digital content. Enjoy content in Hindi, English, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Assamese languages. Indulge in content across 10 different genres.

WAVES OTT platform provides video on demand, free-to-play gaming, live TV streaming with 65 live channels, radio streaming, app integration, and online shopping through ONDC. It also highlights young content creators, who have been awarded the National Creator Award.

You can binge on popular shows like Roll No. 52, Fauji 2.0, Kicking Balls, Jackson Holt, and more. Additionally, enjoy animated content such as Monkey King: The Hero is Back, Fouja, and Chota Bheem.

The WAVES app is available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, with most content accessible at no cost. A subscription is required for premium content, with the Platinum Plan priced at 999 Rupees annually.

The Platinum Plan offers 1080P streaming, access on four devices, downloads, live TV, radio, background play, and a 10% discount on-demand TV. The Diamond Plan costs 350 Rupees per year.

Alternatively, choose the Diamond Plan for 85 Rupees for three months or 30 Rupees per month, offering 720P streaming and access on two devices. Purchase subscriptions from the platform's website wavespb.com. Currently, in-app purchases are unavailable.
