Bhiwandi Murder Mystery:
The city of Bhiwandi, located in the Thane district of Maharashtra, was shocked when a powerloom worker was brutally murdered. The police have now embarked on an intense investigation. The deceased's body was discovered near a river.
An officer from the Bhiwandi taluka police station informed PTI that the victim, identified as Anwar Ali Wakhil Ansari, was 44 years old. The police recovered Ansari's body on Friday evening near the Kamvari River.
An officer present at the scene shared that Ansari had sustained multiple injuries to his head, ears, and eyes, among other parts of his body. The motive behind the murder is still unclear. The owner of the powerloom unit where Ansari worked has identified the body and registered a complaint with the police.
According to the officer, the deceased often consumed alcohol with a colleague. Ansari's body has now been sent to a government hospital for autopsy. The official explained that the police have registered a case under Section 302 (Murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against an unknown individual and have initiated an investigation.
