Chandrababu Naidu took oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday. Dignitaries like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and South Indian superstars Rajnikanth and Chiranjeevi were present. The event was graced by several prominent NDA leaders. Bihar's Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, was expected to attend but made a last-minute change in plans, stirring up political speculation once again. The opposition has since reacted to Nitish's decision not to attend the ceremony.

On Nitish not participating, RJD spokesperson Ejaz Ahmad stated, 'It's a personal decision, but it's evident that not all is well within the NDA, and such fractures will continue to emerge.' He added, 'Tejaswi Yadav has already predicted these election outcomes ahead of the 2024 general elections.'

'We knew this would happen'

Ejaz commented that Nitish is known for his political savvy and must consider what's happening at the national political epicenter. Congress spokesperson Gyan Ranjan also remarked, 'The present situation results from poor distribution during cabinet formation. After Bihar was sidelined in the ministry allocation, all eyes were on Nitish. We knew this would happen, but never anticipated it so soon. The NDA won't stay in power for long.'

'Days over when NDA...'

While discussing Naidu's oath-taking, BJP spokesperson Guru Prakash targeted the opposition, 'Gone are the days when we were accused of being strong in the north of the Vindhyas only. We have been governing Karnataka, and now NDA's presence is better in South India.'

'Reason for absence might be something else'

Guru speculated that Nitish's decision could be due to other commitments and warned the media against misinterpreting Nitish staying in Patna.
