In Bihar, the political spotlight has shifted from Nitish Kumar to his son Nishant Kumar. Tejashwi claims BJP is strategizing daily to take over JDU, wanting to keep Nishant out of politics. Meanwhile, JDU asserts that Nitish Kumar will make all decisions; the decision of JDU should be left to JDU.
RJD leader and former Deputy CM of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, stated, 'Some people, including BJP and a few from RSS, don't want Nishant in politics under any condition. I've known Nishant since childhood. We're bound by what we can say, but certainly, if he joins, the party might be completely saved. Meetings within BJP about Nishant’s political future suggest an aim to finally grab JDU. Senior members of JDU and BJP are holding daily meetings to prevent Nishant from entering this field.'
JDU's Counterattack
JDU’s senior leader Vijay Chaudhary responded to Tejashwi's statement saying, 'This discussion is dishonest. It should be understood that JDU was established by Nitish Kumar. He is the biggest leader. What lies ahead for JDU will be decided by Nitish Kumar. Whoever he chooses will lead the party.'
BJP's Retaliation Against RJD
BJP struck back at Tejashwi Yadav, pointing out his own troubles in the Land for Job scandal. Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal queried, 'Why do people feel so threatened by Nishant Kumar? Nishant will evolve as a leader and progress because of the opposition.'
About declaring a CM candidate, Dilip Jaiswal said, 'Fate decides all. We'll contest under Nitish Kumar's leadership. Tejashwi has no other topic than Nishant. The Parliament board and all NDA components will jointly decide the CM face for the elections under Nitish Kumar's leadership.'
Meanwhile, BJP legislator Haribhushan Thakur commented on Nishant's potential political entry, 'If Nishant enters politics, we'll welcome him. Nitish Kumar remains our leader and always will be. His direction is ours to follow.'
