As the Lok Sabha elections draw to a close, the announcement of results looms on 4th June. Political analysts are buzzing with speculation and every claim is under scrutiny. In this heated atmosphere, political strategist Prashant Kishor has shown alignment with election expert Yogendra Yadav's forecast. Although their predictions for the BJP's seat count differ, Yadav has also suggested that the saffron party will successfully form the government for the third time with its allies.

Specifically, Kishor has foretold that BJP securing 370 seats on its own will be implausible and that the NDA is unlikely to cross the 400 threshold as claimed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many of his leaders. Nevertheless, he assured that the party will not dip below the 270 mark. A party needs to reach the 272-seat mark to form the government.

On the other hand, Yadav predicted that BJP would not be able to surpass 260 seats on its own and crossing the 300 seat milestone will be impossible. His survey forecast also suggested that the saffron party might fall below the 275 or even 250-seat mark. Echoing Kishor, Yadav reiterated that BJP's 'over 400' claim is far from achievable.

Prashant Kishor skeptically addresses BJP's aim for a strong solo win and NDA's unrealistic 400-seat goal according to PM Modi and BJP leaders' claims. Meanwhile, Yogendra Yadav adds that exceeding 260 seats alone is unlikely for BJP, and surpassing the 300-seat mark is out of the question.

PK Shares Yogendra Yadav's Predictive Video Screenshot

Subsequent to his forecast, on Friday (24th May), Prashant Kishor shared a screenshot of a video by Yogendra Yadav where the latter predicted the ongoing Lok Sabha election outcomes. Yadav estimated BJP would secure between 240 to 260 seats while NDA allies could win between 35 to 45 seats. This tallies to an NDA total of 275 to 305 seats. Yadav also predicted Congress securing between 85 to 100 seats and its UPA allies garnering between 120 to 135 seats, leading to an opposition-led alliance sum of 205 to 235 seats.

In a post accompanying Yadav's video screenshot, Kishor wrote, "The credible face among those understanding elections and socio-political issues, Yogendra Yadav Ji has shared his final assessments of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. According to Yadav Ji, BJP could secure 240-260 seats and NDA allies, 35-45 - totaling to 275-305 for BJP/NDA. A party needs 272 seats to form a government and currently BJP/NDA holds 303/323 seats. Now, you be the judge of who's forming the government. The rest we'll find out on June 4th when the true narrative unfolds."

No Widespread Anger Against PM Modi: PK

Earlier on Tuesday (21st May), in an exclusive conversation with India Today TV, Prashant Kishor commented on BJP's seat sharing prediction and mentioned that there is no widespread anger against PM Modi amongst the people. To support his election forecast, he also claimed that BJP is not facing a major setback in the North and West, while it is poised to increase its seats in the South and East.

Yadav shared a riveting commentary on the opposition-led UPA bloc, asserting that the alliance has the potential to overtake the NDA. He mentioned that if there is a significant political upheaval in the NDA strongholds of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in the coming days, the UPA bloc might seize the opportunity to lead.
