In an astounding turn of events from Madhya Pradesh's Rewa, a husband and wife created a high-voltage drama at the City Kotwali police station. Dissatisfied with the lack of action on a theft case, the couple entered the station bearing an offering plate and a garland of flowers. They then expressed their protest in a unique manner. The police were taken aback by the couple's actions, and footage of the incident has surfaced.
On April 6, Anuradha Soni, a jeweler from Rewa along with her husband and children, visited the Kotwali. They carried with them a prayer plate, a coconut, and a garland of flowers. Amidst praising the police, the couple proceeded and made their way into the Inspector's chamber. Before Station Head JP Patel could understand what was happening, the couple began their theatrical protest.

'Police identified the accused, but...'
The police eventually escorted the couple out of the station. In a unique form of protest, Anuradha and her husband were opposing the inaction on a robbery case they reported on January 28. A craftsman had absconded with Anuradha Soni's gold and silver. The police identified the suspect but failed to apprehend him. The suspect is reportedly on the run.

Station Head JP Patel Shares Insights on the Case
Station Head JP Patel explained that the investigation of the case was underway. The accused employee had fled and, in the meantime, applied for anticipatory bail in the High Court, which was granted. Since becoming aware of the case, police have been actively searching for the suspect. The High Court has also deemed the actions of the complainants at the police station as inappropriate.
The police have registered a case against Kuldeep Soni, Anuradha Soni, Ajay Pramod, and Raj Soni under Sections 149, 186, and 504 for obstruction of duty and disrespecting the police.
