Before the parliamentary elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi headlined a rally in Gaya, Bihar, where he laid into the RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) -the party led by Lalu Prasad Yadav. The Prime Minister asserted, 'The RJD ruled Bihar for years, yet they lack the courage to ask for votes based on their work. As a result, they seek votes on Nitish Kumar's (Chief Minister of Bihar) accomplishments.'

PM Modi continued, 'In Bihar, the largest face of misrule and the synonym for corruption is RJD. The fodder scam is recognized by the court as well. Through this scam, RJD looted the poor.' Mocking the RJD's election symbol (a lantern), he quipped, 'Can a lantern ever charge a mobile phone? These are people of a bygone era; they don't want to let you enter the modern age. If it were still the era of the lantern, they would never allow you to progress.'

'One Side Us, The Other, Them'

The Prime Minister elaborated, 'I still have much to accomplish for the country and for Bihar. The people of Bihar understand that this is not just an electoral battle for a party, but for the nation. On one side, there are those of us who take pride in our nation's culture, and on the opposite side, there are those who belittle our faith.' He also led the crowd in chanting 'Victory to Lord Ramchandra.'

'They Rejected the Invitation to the Prana Pratishtha'

Modi further added, 'Tomorrow, the sun's rays in Gaya will auspiciously anoint Ram Lala's forehead. But the arrogant alliance has problems even with the Ram Temple- those who once questioned the existence of Lord Ram are now speaking in such tongues. Rejecting the invitation to the consecration for the sake of a community's vote bank is not in line with our country's traditions.'

'Can Anyone Destroy This Strength?'

Aiming at the INDIA block led by Congress, PM Modi declared, 'The leaders of this alliance, Congress's prince, brazenly say they will destroy the strength of Hinduism. Can anyone really destroy this strength? Those who set out to do so, what will become of them? Their other ally calls our eternal faith dengue and malaria. This is an insult to our ancestors and sages. Are these people even worthy of winning a single seat?'
