Upon Gaining Power, No Room for Those Disparaging Caste: Pappu Yadav Warns

Pappu Yadav, an independent MP from Purnia, visited the families of victims who died from consuming toxic liquor in Saran and Siwan. During his visit, he provided financial assistance of ten thousand rupees each to the affected families.

During the visit, Yadav urged those spreading hatred and demeaning caste to cease their actions. He emphasized that this is Bihar, a place of inclusivity and education. He staunchly stated that once in power, he would prevent those disparaging caste from engaging in politics and ensure no party grants them tickets. Laws would be enacted to prohibit political endorsements for such individuals.

Regarding the tragic deaths caused by tainted liquor, Yadav described the incident as more than just sorrowful—it was akin to murder. He demanded stringent legal actions, akin to those in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana, leading to life imprisonment for the perpetrators.

He lamented past instances where cases were weakened, calling for lifetime imprisonment and a ban on bail for manufacturers and sellers. He emphasized that funds involving the illegal liquor trade run deep and must be tackled from top to bottom.

Pappu Yadav criticized leaders for brushing off such deaths. He questioned their integrity, recalling past incidents where alcohol consumption led to mortality before prohibition. He urged that a ban on toxic liquor be enforced.

He reassured the public that under his watchful eye, he would uproot the manufacture of toxic liquor. He vowed quick action against officials in areas where such incidents occur, citing previous bribes given for improper postings.

Yadav reflected on past floods where he singularly fed a million people in Pappu Yadav's absence, reflecting government negligence. He challenged government priorities, noting the ease of expenses for election campaigns versus aiding the impoverished during disasters.
