Panna district in Madhya Pradesh is famously known for its valuable diamond mines. Once again, a farmer and his peers have uncovered a precious gem here. This time, farmer Dilip Mistry and his associates have found a 7.44-carat diamond. The estimated value of this diamond is around 2 million rupees, and it will be put up for auction on the upcoming December 4.
Farmer Dilip Mistry shared that during the lockdown, he secured a lease from the diamond office to start mining on his land. Since then, he and his partners have discovered over a dozen diamonds. This is their second major find of the year, having previously found a 16-carat diamond, which was also submitted to the diamond office.
