Operation Sindoor, spearheaded by India, not only demolished 9 terrorist hideouts but also sent a clear message that India not only defends its airspace but exercises control over it.

According to government sources, Pakistan's attempts to launch missile attacks on Indian military bases in Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat were completely thwarted. All missiles were either intercepted or destroyed mid-air, none reached their targets. This success of the Indian air defense system is the result of 11 years of strategic preparation, systematically orchestrated under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. Additionally, it unmasked the vulnerabilities in Pakistan's air defense systems.

Foiled Enemy Missiles, India's Impenetrable Air Shield

Now fully equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, Indian defense utilized an integrated counter-UAS grid, S-400 Triumph, Barak-8 missiles, Akash missiles, and DRDO's anti-drone technology, constructing an aerial shield that Pakistani weaponry couldn’t penetrate.

Rapid Retaliation and Precision Strikes

India didn't just defend, but responded with swift, precise strikes. Under Operation Sindoor, India decimated a Chinese-made HQ-9 air defense unit in Lahore and inflicted heavy damage on radar systems. Rafale fighter jets, armed with SCALP and HAMMER missiles, struck a severe blow to Pakistan’s military capabilities.

Showcasing Self-Reliant Indian Technology

This military readiness wasn’t achieved overnight. For the first time, indigenous 'loitering munitions' were used in battle. Following their order in 2021 and deployment in 2024, these drones astonishingly outmaneuvered Pakistan’s defense setups. Moreover, Harop drones of Israeli origin, now manufactured in India, were deployed against air defense systems in Karachi and Lahore.
