Noida Traffic Police Advisory Issued for Republic Day: Roads to Close

Ensuring security during Republic Day, Gautam Buddha Nagar Traffic Police has restricted the entry of freight vehicles (heavy, medium, and light vehicles) into Delhi.

In light of Republic Day, Gautam Buddha Nagar Traffic Police has issued an advisory to restrict the movement of freight vehicles (heavy, medium, and light vehicles) into Delhi to ensure security. This order will be effective from 10 PM on January 25th until the conclusion of the celebrations on January 26th.

Main Instructions and Alternative Routes
Chilla Border

Vehicles heading to Delhi from Chilla Red Light Border must take a U-turn toward the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, and then proceed via the Eastern Peripheral Expressway to reach their destination.

DND Border

Vehicles are advised to take a U-turn at the DND Toll Plaza, heading towards the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and then utilize the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

Kalindi Kunj Yamuna Border

Vehicles approaching from the Kalindi Kunj Yamuna Border will be redirected at the underpass intersection towards the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.

Yamuna Expressway

Vehicles traveling to Delhi via the Yamuna Expressway will be diverted from Zero Point through Pari Chowk to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

DCP Traffic, Lakhan Singh Yadav, has urged drivers to adhere to the advisory and use the suggested alternate routes to avoid inconvenience. He stated there might be changes in the route plan depending on the situation. Traffic Police appeals for cooperation from the public to maintain security and convenience during the Republic Day celebrations.
