India's star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra competed in the Doha Diamond League 2025 on Friday (May 16). In the men's javelin throw event, Neeraj claimed the second spot, achieving a remarkable best throw of 90.23 meters in his third attempt. Germany's Julian Weber secured the first position with an incredible 91.06-meter throw during his sixth attempt. Alongside Neeraj, fellow Indian participant Kishore Jena also competed in the men's javelin throw, finishing eighth.

Athletes are rewarded with 8 points for securing first place in a leg of the Diamond League, while second place earns 7 points, third earns 6 points, and fourth place gets 5 points.
