'Nitish Kumar remains in NDA,' declares JDU leader K.C. Tyagi

In the heat of election counting, NDA seems poised for another term as JDU addresses statements on Nitish Kumar's allegiance.

Amidst the vote tally for the Lok Sabha elections, JDU leader K.C. Tyagi has firmly dismissed speculations of a post-election alliance shift to the India Block. Speaking to the media, Tyagi affirmed that Nitish Kumar is with the NDA and intends to stay.

Tyagi asserted, 'False claims have previously been made regarding Nitish Kumar's health, which were unfounded. He had visited the Prime Minister just yesterday. During the elections, he made it clear that we are not going anywhere. We outright reject any notions of leaving the NDA.'

K.C. Tyagi proclaimed Nitish Kumar as among the founding members of the NDA. 'Our electoral performance has been satisfactory, and leaving the NDA is completely out of question,' he stated.

NDA Takes the Lead in Bihar

In Bihar, the NDA is currently leading in 34 out of 40 seats. JDU is ahead in 15 seats, BJP in 13. Lok Janshakti Party led by Chirag Paswan is moving forward in 5 seats, and Jitan Ram Manjhi leads in one seat. Meanwhile, RJD is leading in 3 seats, with Congress and Left in another three.
