The case of Priyanka Sharma's death in Thailand remains unresolved as Lucknow police are yet to draw any conclusions. An autopsy conducted in Thailand failed to clarify the cause of death. Consequently, a third autopsy was performed in Lucknow, but it also didn't reveal the cause of Priyanka's death.
It was discovered that Thai police had retained her viscera. This report will be sent to Lucknow two months later, which may provide clarity.
Simultaneously, police will seek legal counsel on the matter. Priyanka's body underwent two autopsies in Thailand, but her family was dissatisfied with the results, prompting their demand for a third autopsy, carried out on Thursday in Lucknow.
A panel of five doctors, including a female doctor and forensic specialist, conducted the autopsy for about an hour and a half. The procedure was video recorded. The cremation took place at Bhaisakund in Lucknow the previous evening with police in attendance.
