Via his diary, Mauni Baba elucidates that only the revered Kedarnath is aware of the duration of his vow of silence, which currently extends indefinitely. He shares that he has been a part of the Kumbh from its inception and is now journeying towards Raipur, where he intends to celebrate the grand festival of Maha Shivratri.
Further revelations penned by Mauni Baba indicate his meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Through a letter, he apprised the leader of his silent vow, delivering the message personally at Gorakhpur. He remarks that he is not a practitioner of Hatha Yoga, attributing his silence to divine benevolence.
For context, the Kumbh Mela commenced on January 13 and will culminate with the holy bathing on Maha Shivratri, February 26. Significant rituals such as the 'Auspicious Bathing' on Magh Purnima, February 12, 2025, and Maha Shivratri on February 26, 2025, remain.
