A case of suspicious death of an 18-year-old student from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, who came to Kota to prepare for the Joint Entrance Exam Main and Advanced for engineering admission, has come to light. The deceased coaching student, Kushagra Rastogi, 18, a resident of Prayagraj, was staying in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar in Kota in a hostel while preparing for the engineering entrance exam. It is reported that Kushagra Rastogi went to take a shower in the bathroom where he lost consciousness.
The student was taken to the hospital in an unconscious state, but he passed away on the way before reaching the hospital. The student was staying in a hostel and preparing for IIT through private coaching. During the Raksha Bandhan festival, the deceased coaching student's mother was also in Kota. She was staying with him in the hostel for the past two days. The body of the deceased student was kept in the mortuary of MBS Hospital. His father has been informed. The post-mortem will be done by the medical board today after his father's arrival.

Jawahar Nagar police officer Hari Narayan Sharma stated that Kushagra Rastogi, a resident of Prayagraj, was preparing for IIT while staying in a hostel located in Old Rajiv Gandhi Nagar. His mother was also staying with him in the hostel for two days on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. On Monday morning, news of his death was received; during the incident, Kushagra had gone to take a shower in the bathroom, but when he did not come out even after a long time, his mother called out to him, and when she got no response from inside, she opened the door to find him unconscious in the bathroom.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead. His father has been informed about this. The body of the coaching student is kept in the mortuary of MBS Hospital. His father will reach Kota on Tuesday, after which the post-mortem process will begin. It cannot be said what caused the death of Kushagra Rastogi; only the post-mortem report will clarify this.
