A chilling incident emerged from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, where several youths were caught on camera harassing a woman. The offenders then brazenly circulated the recording on social media. Following the incident, the victim courageously reported the crime to the authorities. The police promptly registered a case and incarcerated eight suspects.
A local woman from the Nagar Kotwali district reported to the police that some men from her village harassed her and made the incident public by sharing it on social media. The incident occurred while she was out to meet a friend. During this time, the group of men filmed their indecent acts.
In response to the woman's complaint, the police opened an investigation and detained the accused: Anuj, Kuldeep, Ankit, Ravi, Rizwan, Chhota, Abdul Rahman, and one other individual.
