Indeed, just like the hero in 'Ghajini,' a man named Guru Siddappa Waghmare had tattooed the names of his enemies on his body. After his death, the police discovered 20 to 22 names tattooed on his thighs. Mumbai Crime Branch's Unit 3 is investigating the murder of 50-year-old Guru Siddappa Waghmare at the Soft Touch Spa in the Worli area.

Spa Owner Arrested

In connection with Guru Siddappa Waghmare's murder, the Crime Branch team had detained four people from Nalasopara and Kota near Mumbai. Out of these, two have been arrested, while two are still being questioned. The spa owner has also been arrested in this case.

Identification of Contract Killers

A Mumbai police officer revealed that one of the arrested suspects is 26-year-old Mohammad Firoz Ansari, who was apprehended from Nalasopara. The second suspect, Saquib Ansari, was caught in Kota. The Worli police are now interrogating other suspects connected to the spa owner.

A Lead From the Tattoos

After Guru Siddappa Waghmare's death, when the police examined his body, they found 20-22 names tattooed on his thighs. The police are now questioning these individuals. One of the names in that list provided a lead, which eventually led to the arrest of the accused.

After-Party at the Spa

A police officer mentioned that Guru Siddappa Waghmare resided in the Villeparle area of Mumbai. On July 23, Waghmare and his female friend attended a party in the Sion area of Mumbai along with three workers from the Worli spa. After the party, Waghmare and his female friend went to the Worli spa.

Two Killers Entered the Spa

After the party, around 12:30 AM, they all arrived at the Soft Touch Spa in Worli. Around 2 AM, the three workers left the spa. Soon after, two unknown assailants, who harbored enmity with Waghmare, entered the spa by opening the shutter. They slit Waghmare's throat with a sharp weapon, killing him. He fell to the ground, bleeding profusely.

Information Reaches Police

While the killers attacked Guru Siddappa Waghmare, he tried to defend himself, sustaining severe injuries on his hand. The assailants fled the scene after committing the crime. In the morning, when Waghmare's female friend informed the spa owner about the incident, the latter called the Mumbai Police Control Room to report the murder.

Crime Branch Joins Investigation

Mumbai Police reported receiving information about the incident at 1:45 PM on Wednesday. The police then arrived at the scene and began questioning the spa workers and Waghmare's friends. Currently, both the Worli police and the Crime Branch are involved in the investigation.

Santosh Sherekar Ordered the Hit

According to information, the Worli police have arrested the spa owner, Santosh Sherekar. The police revealed that Santosh Sherekar had paid 6 lakh rupees to the killers to murder Guru Siddappa Waghmare.
