While speaking indirectly, BSP Supremo Mayawati has taken aim at Azad Samaj Party leader Chandrashekhar Azad. In a series of posts on X, she remarked that the reinstatement of Akash Anand as National Coordinator seems to be causing unrest among some. Furthermore, implying at Chandrashekhar Azad 'Ravan,' Mayawati labeled him a 'seasonal frog.'

Notably, this marks Mayawati's most significant political salvo against Chandrashekhar Azad. She noted that though one may become an MLA or MP under the influence of BJP, SP, Congress, and Aam Aadmi Party for personal gain, it would not benefit the society. Besides, Mayawati also praised her nephew Akash Anand. She indicated that his designation as National Coordinator has seemingly unnerved many, a direct hint toward Chandrashekhar Azad.

Recently, Chandrashekhar addressed a Muslim event in Lucknow, asserting that only Azad Samaj Party represents the ideology and legacy of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Following his statement, Mayawati's remark came, escalating the political temperature in the state.

Mayawati stated that BSP remains the only Ambedkarite party focused on promoting the interest of the Bahujan community, having a practice of re-inducting individuals after rectifying and apologizing for previous actions. In this context, the ups and downs involving Akash Anand and his new role have understandably caused discomfort among many.

According to Mayawati, the party expects Akash Anand to earnestly extend the legacy and aspirations of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram Ji. The party has no use for opportunists or selfish individuals. Despite alliances and influences by parties like Congress, BJP, and SP, organizations and leaders akin to 'seasonal frogs' may become MLAs or ministers out of self-interest but won't contribute to society's welfare. People should remain cautious.
