Manoj Pandey, the former Chief Whip of the Samajwadi Party, paid his respects at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Post his visit, he unleashed his criticisms toward his own political party, announcing that he had suggested a proposal for the party members to visit the Temple, which was dismissed. He shared the disappointment and heartbreak when such a spiritual experience was denied.
Injecting his voice further into party dynamics, he targeted Swami Prasad Maurya, while emphasizing his steadfast presence whenever deities faced derogatory statements. Pandey declared that without Lord Ram, we are empty, as He is our sustainer.

Without Ram, there's emptiness. Referring to Ram Lalla's astonishingly divine presence, Pandey shared his pride and reverence, stating his blessed fortune as a true Hindu graced by Lord Ram's presence. The grandeur of the temple and the establishment of the Lord in his eternal home is indeed miraculous and profound.
Akhilesh Yadav Critiqued as Anti-Ram
Clearly, Manoj Pandey presented Akhilesh Yadav, the party's chief, as opposing Ram's values and labeled this disconnect as a root cause of the party's internal friction. Before his temple visit, Pandey met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, describing it as a discussion on developmental issues.
However, after witnessing Shri Ram's temple, Pandey visibly challenged SP’s leadership, describing how, in a party meeting, as Chief Whip, he had proposed the temple visit initiative.
During the Rajya Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh, several SP legislators switched votes. Prior to this, SP legislator Manoj Pandey resigned as Chief Whip and later arrived at the assembly in Yogi government Minister Dayashankar Singh’s vehicle to cast his vote.
Standing with Sanatan and Hindutva Values for Life
Denied entry to see Ram Lalla was tragic, and Pandey hinted this as a cause of disunity within the party. He reiterated his stance against divisive speeches by Swami Prasad Maurya and firmly vouched to support Sanatan and Hindutva beliefs for life.
Pandey explained that just as a lifeless body needs its soul, we need Lord Ram to flourish. While barred from the visit, he deemed India's denial as unfortunate, representing four-five lakh people who sent us to represent them by their support. We wanted to honor Ram Lalla, and despite putting forth this proposal in a Delhi assembly meeting, we were obstructed.
