In Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh, a violent clash erupted between two parties over a land dispute on Friday. During this altercation, a 51-year-old woman was shot dead on the spot, while two others sustained injuries. The police, upon receiving information, arrived at the scene, took control of the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination. The police have confirmed that an FIR has been filed and action is being taken.
The incident took place in the village of Dhakadri, under the jurisdiction of Garoth police station. According to reports, the deceased woman was identified as Suganabai, and her two relatives, Ramgopal and Balram, were critically injured. The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
Garoth Police Station's Sub-Inspector, Manoj Mahajan, stated that the dispute was over a piece of land, and the two parties had been entangled in it for a long time. A case has been registered against more than 12 individuals, including Nagendra Singh. During the investigation, 3-4 individuals have been detained, and searches for the remaining suspects are ongoing.
The police assured that a thorough investigation is being undertaken, and further actions will be expedited. The village remains tense following the incident, prompting increased security measures by the police in the area.
