Mahindra introduces the all-new Thar Roxx Star Edition in India. With its captivating design and robust engine, this lifestyle SUV starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹16.85 lakh. Featuring more than just a star-studded name, it brings forth a renewed look and feel. Based on the top-spec AX7L trim, the Roxx Star incorporates black-themed cosmetic enhancements, delivering a bold and premium vibe.
To distinguish itself from the standard Thar Roxx, Mahindra equips the Roxx Star Edition with a glossy black grill and alloy wheels. Unlike the standard models' body color grill and silver alloys, the Star Edition emerges with a striking aggressive silhouette. A new Citrine Yellow addition to the Thar Roxx range complements the black elements, presenting a unique visual appeal. Other color options include Tango Red, Everest White, and Stealth Black. A Star Edition badge on the C-pillar further separates it from other variants.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx Star Edition is available in three variants. The diesel manual is priced at ₹16.85 lakh, the petrol automatic at ₹17.85 lakh, and the diesel automatic carries an ex-showroom price tag of ₹18.35 lakh.
Inside the cabin, the Thar Roxx Star Edition receives special treatment. It features an all-black interior replacing the lighter upholstery of the past, with black leatherette seats and suede accents adding to its sporty appeal. Feature-wise, the edition remains unchanged, offering full-LED lighting, dual 10.25-inch screens for the instrument cluster and touchscreen, front ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and terrain modes.

The powertrains remain consistent with the standard Thar Roxx lineup. It houses a 2.0-liter petrol engine delivering 177 HP and 380 Nm of torque, alongside a 2.2-liter diesel engine producing 175 HP and 400 Nm of torque. While the petrol engine is paired with an automatic gearbox, the diesel offers both manual and automatic options. Notably, the Star Edition is available exclusively in rear-wheel drive, offering no 4x4 system.
Launched in 2024, the Mahindra Thar Roxx quickly became a best-seller for the company.
