The vigilant officers thwarted their plans and seized five formidable weapons. During the ferocious encounter, a brave C-60 officer was injured but is now recuperating in a Nagpur hospital.

Authorities had reliable intelligence indicating that the Maoist faction had been strategically planning destructive activities for several days. Distinguished by conviction, these insurgents were found lurking in the remote jungles of Taha's Koparshi, with alleged links to areas Bharmaragad and Narayanpur in Chhattisgarh, poised to disturb Maharashtra's democratic process.

A Heroic Encounter

On October 19th, reinforcements led by Additional SP Yatish Deshmukh and Additional SP Ramesh, comprising 21 specialized Anti-Naxal C-60 squads and 2 CRPF units, launched an immediate search operation. The fallen were known for encounters, arson, and murder. The battlefield relinquished five potent weapons cementing this decisive victory.
