The political landscape in Maharashtra is heating up as the state prepares for upcoming elections. Amidst this, Maharashtra's minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha has made a bold statement. Lodha declared, 'There was a time when Mumbai witnessed bombings orchestrated by Daud Ibrahim, leaving many innocent lives devastated.'

Minister Lodha added, 'Though Daud Ibrahim may have fled to Dubai, his sleeper cells remain active in Mumbai, perpetuating 'vote jihad'. Should these cells not be stopped, cherished Hindu festivals like Navratri, Govinda, and Ganpati might cease to exist. The people of Bengal made a grave error during elections. If Mumbai's populace follows suit, the city might transform into another Bengal. Will Mumbai's citizens allow themselves to become like Mohammad Ali Road?'

What Others Have Said About Daud

Daud Ibrahim has been a recurring figure of discourse. Recently, in Nagpur, Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole targeted the BJP at a rally, stating, 'The BJP's power jihad continues; they would even accommodate Daud if it served their political ambitions.' Patole challenged BJP to come clean about Nawab Malik to the public.

When Will Maharashtra Vote?

Maharashtra's public will cast their votes for 288 assembly seats on November 20, with results announced on November 23. In the previous elections, BJP secured 105 seats, Shiv Sena 56, NCP 54, and Congress 44. Post-election, Shiv Sena parted ways with NDA to form a government with NCP and Congress, and Uddhav Thackeray assumed the role of Chief Minister.
