On Friday, at the India Today Conclave, the President of Parmarth Niketan Rishikesh, Swami Chidanand Saraswati, participated. He noted that this cultural event not only instigated a significant change in people's perspectives but also deepened their understanding of the essence and nature of the Sanatan tradition.

Message of Equality in Sanatan Tradition

He emphasized the principle of equality in the Sanatan tradition, stating that the manifestation of this equality could be seen in Mahakumbh, where both the President and the commoner Ramoo took a dip at the same ghat.

Swami Chidanand Saraswati stated, "Mahakumbh is not just a religious event; it is a symbol of Indian culture, faith, and unity." He highlighted the changes observed in this event, stating that people are now more inclined towards spirituality, a transformation clearly felt at the Sangam shore.

Swami Chidanand Saraswati portrayed Mahakumbh as a living example of unity in Indian society. He remarked, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi and an ordinary worker shared the same ghat for a bath in Sangam. What greater message of harmony and equality can there be?" He called this event the strength of Indian culture, where distinctions of caste, religion, and class dissolve.
