The Madhya Pradesh High Court has taken a firm stance regarding a controversial statement made by Minister Vijay Shah. In response to comments made about Colonel Sofia Qureshi, the court, on its own initiative, has directed that an FIR be lodged against Shah within the next four hours.
Presided over by Justice Atul Shridharan, the division bench has issued orders to the state's Director General of Police (DGP), emphasizing the necessity for immediate filing of an FIR against Vijay Shah. The court also delivered stern instructions to the state's Advocate General Prashant Singh, ensuring that an FIR is filed under all circumstances. The next hearing of this case is scheduled to be the first on Thursday morning, indicating the urgency with which the court is handling this matter. Consequently, this order from the court has stirred the state's administration and police departments into swift action.

I made the statement considering the pain of those sisters whose lives were disrupted by terrorists. If something inappropriate slipped out of my mouth in the heat of the moment, I apologize for it.'
