The political tussle continues unabated on the third day of the ongoing Monsoon Session in Parliament. The aggressive opposition took to the well of the Lok Sabha, creating a massive uproar. Black scarves were waved in front of the Speaker's podium, accompanied by the display of placards. The black scarf was waved not once, but twice. Due to the commotion, the proceedings of the House were disrupted, leading to its adjournment first until noon and then again until two in the afternoon.
Speaker Om Birla warned of decisive actions, likening the conduct of the members to behavior seen on streets. As the Lok Sabha proceedings commenced, opposition members, in a surge of slogans, entered the well, brandishing placards for the Speaker to see.
In the midst of the chaos, one member took out a black scarf and began waving it in front of the Speaker's podium. Initially, Speaker Om Birla himself presided over the House and counseled the members to maintain decorum, warning of decisive actions if disturbances persisted, before adjourning the session until noon.

When the House reconvened at noon, BJP's Sandhya Roy, a member of the Deputy Speaker's panel, presided over the session amidst the uproar and listed the day's business. Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya presented the National Sports Governance Bill and the Anti-Doping (Amendment) Bill 2025 amidst the commotion.

Opposition members continued protesting with placards and shouting slogans in front of the Speaker. Shortly thereafter, the presiding officer announced another adjournment until 2 PM. Earlier, when Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh was laying documents on the table, placards with 'SIR' written on them were waved in front of him.
