In a grave incident near the Line of Control (LOC) in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, a landmine explosion severely injured two army soldiers. The explosion occurred during a routine patrol operation by a contingent of soldiers on the LOC.

Officials reported that on Friday, a landmine blast near the LOC injured two army personnel. They stated, 'Early morning in the northern Kashmir district of Trehgam near Gugludara, during a patrol along the LOC, the explosion occurred.' The injured soldiers are being treated at the Army Hospital in Drugmulla, and their condition is stable. The army is investigating the circumstances leading to this explosion.

A significant development from a day earlier involved a clash between security forces and terrorists during a search operation in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. Amidst the operation, the trapped terrorists opened fire. Over the past two months, various parts of Kishtwar have witnessed several gunfire exchanges between security forces and terrorists.
