Kota Police have swiftly detained a suspect involved in a viral video that threatened the lives of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and 25 MPs. Taking the matter seriously, the police are preparing to file stringent charges against the accused.
According to Kota City's SP, Tejaswini Gautam, the detained individual is Raj Aamer. Police records indicate that he has four separate cases against him. The police have proactively taken note of this incident and have already commenced interrogation.
Viral Video Sparks Uproar
Initial investigations reveal that the accused posted a video on social media, where he threatened to shoot Rahul Gandhi and 25 MPs. The video quickly gained traction and is considered a significant security concern.
As per police sources, Congress leader Pawan Khera and members of the Youth Congress shared this video on social media, further amplifying the issue. Currently, police are interrogating the accused to uncover the motive behind this threat and its intended purpose.
BJP District President Denies Party Connections
In a statement, BJP Kota District President Rakesh Jain clarified that the individual seen in the viral video has no affiliation with the Bharatiya Janata Party. He emphasized that the BJP operates on principles of discipline and nation-building, rejecting language and behavior contrary to its ideology.
Rakesh Jain also stated that any threat or wrongful behavior against democratic values is unacceptable. He urged authorities to take strict action against the accused to ensure such incidents do not repeat.
Intense Interrogation Continues, Additional Charges Possible
Currently, Kota Police are conducting thorough interrogations of the accused and scrutinizing his social media activities. Authorities are also investigating whether he is connected to any network.
According to police officials, more charges could be added based on the investigation's findings. Recognizing the case's seriousness, the police are examining all aspects and preparing for further legal proceedings.
