A distressing incident has emerged from Kaushambi district in Uttar Pradesh. Here, a Muslim man first enticed a Hindu woman into a romantic trap, forcibly converted her, and then executed a heinous act of gang rape. To compound the trauma, the woman was filmed in an objectionable state, and the video was made viral on social media. In response to the woman's report, the primary accused, Mohammed Kaif, has been apprehended by the police.
This incident occurred in a village under the jurisdiction of the Western Shrirara police station. The victim recounted to the police that her acquaintance with Mohammed Kaif started approximately two years ago. After falling into his web of deceit, she was terrorized into silence when Kaif threatened her life post her marriage five months ago. Out of fear, she sought help from Kaif's sister, Alfiya, who invited her to their home. Upon arrival, a daunting situation unfolded where Kaif, along with Irfan and Shah Alam, pressured her to marry Kaif.

When she refused, they took turns assaulting her and captured the violation on video. Following this incident, a cleric named Imran attempted to enforce a religious conversion by coercing her to recite assurances of faith. Threats continued, insinuating harm to her family if she divulged anything. She was also given a Quran and a burqa, with plans to take her to Mumbai the following day. Seizing an opportunity, she escaped to her family, revealing the horrifying ordeal.

Upon the victim's complaint, Mohammed Kaif stands arrested. Case charges include the IT Act, the Conversion Act, and several sections of the Indian Penal Code. DSP JP Pandey indicated that the investigation is uncovering startling details, leading to the intensification of charges. The search for the remaining suspects is actively underway.
