Glass Pieces Scattered for a Kilometer Along Kanwar Route in Shahdara, Delhi

In the Shahdara area of Delhi, mischievous elements scattered glass pieces along the Kanwar Yatra route. Delhi cabinet minister Kapil Mishra alleged that these pieces were spread across nearly one kilometer to hinder the pilgrimage. Upon receiving the information, PWD and municipal employees rushed to the scene to commence cleanup operations.

Considering the severity of the incident, local legislator Sanjay Goyal also arrived to assess the situation. Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta took immediate cognizance of the matter, directing strict action against the culprits. An FIR will be filed against the miscreants by the PWD.

The administration has made it clear that no obstacle will be allowed during the Kanwar Yatra, and the safety of the pilgrimage will be ensured.

On this matter, Kapil Mishra said on X, that some mischievous elements in Delhi's Shahdara scattered glass pieces on the Kanwar Yatra route along a stretch of almost one kilometer. PWD and municipal employees are actively cleaning the route. Local legislator Sanjay Goyal Ji is present on-site. CM Rekha Gupta has personally taken note of the incident. An FIR will be lodged by the PWD against the miscreants. We will not allow any disruptions in the Kanwar Yatra.
