The bus was carrying 53 passengers from the Sikh community, all headed to a religious gathering scheduled to be held at the gurdwara in Ranchi. The accident struck as the bus reached the Hazaribagh area in the Daru police station jurisdiction. Among the deceased were two women and four men.
Police Respond to Scene and Rescue Injured

Upon receiving news of the incident, police, with assistance from locals, initiated rescue operations. The injured were transported to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College in Hazaribagh for treatment, where they are currently receiving medical attention.
DC Nancy Sahay confirmed the incident. SP Manoj Ratan reported that there were six fatalities. The other passengers were admitted to the hospital. He mentioned the possibility of more casualties among those trapped in the bus. The bus was carrying 52 passengers, all intending to participate in an event at the Ranchi gurdwara.
