A horrifying incident unfolded at Jhansi's Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College on Tuesday. Dogs clamped onto a premature newborn's head, bringing it onto the road. This grisly scene occurred near Gate Number 1, where security guards were stationed. Upon spotting the dogs, the guards managed to shoo them away. All they could find was the head, with the rest of the body nowhere in sight.
The security guards immediately alerted the medical college administration. Dr. Sachin Mahaur, the CMS of the college, mentioned that only the head was found and the incident was immediately reported to the police. The police swiftly took custody of the head for a postmortem and have launched an investigation.
Dogs Seize Newborn's Head
Initial investigations revealed that there were no records of any newborn deaths in the obstetrics department over the past five days. All newborns admitted to the ward are safe. This led to the belief that someone might have abandoned the newborn, which was then attacked by the dogs.
Administration and Police Begin Investigation
Dr. Sachin Mahaur reported that the security guards were the first to notice the head at the incident site and informed us. A thorough search of nearby shrubs was conducted, but the rest of the body couldn't be found. The police have now intensified the investigation. This disturbing incident has instilled fear among the people of Jhansi Medical College and its vicinity. Both the administration and the police are diligently working to unravel the mystery.
