Discussions on reinstating Jammu and Kashmir's statehood are underway after ongoing meetings involving President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Home Minister Amit Shah.

These speculations gained traction when Amit Shah met with some leaders from Jammu and Kashmir and the local BJP chiefs. According to sources, PM Modi has also scheduled an important NDA MPs' meeting on Tuesday.

Reacting to the rumors, Umar Abdullah took to social media expressing, "I've heard all about what is supposed to happen tomorrow in Jammu and Kashmir, hence I confidently claim nothing will occur. Fortunately, nothing negative will transpire neither, but unfortunately, nothing positive either.
