On Monday in Jaipur, a harrowing road accident unfolded. An allegedly intoxicated dump truck driver first crushed a motorcycle before barreling through pedestrians and vehicles at high speed. CCTV footage reveals the truck's loss of control, hitting people and cars in its unstoppable course. The scene was so horrific that several bodies were trapped beneath the truck.
According to the police, 19 fatalities have been confirmed, with over a dozen seriously injured so far. The injured have been admitted to Kanwatia Hospital and the trauma center. Some victims' conditions are reported to be extremely critical. Eyewitnesses recounted that the road was littered with vehicle debris. Several motorcycles were trapped beneath the dump truck, requiring considerable effort to remove.

This Tragedy Has Claimed 19 Lives So Far
In light of the accident's severity, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma dispatched Cabinet Ministers Sumit Godara and Suresh Singh Rawat to the hospital. They instructed doctors to provide the best possible care to the injured. Dr. B.L. Yadav, the trauma center's nodal officer, confirmed ongoing treatment for all the injured, with some transferred to Kanwatia Hospital.
